On Friday our CEO John Partridge was named a “Tech Luminary” in the 17th annual Innovation All Stars award, which is given jointly by Mass High Tech (MHT) and the Boston Business Journal (BBJ). As noted in MHT by the editor, Chris McIntosh, the Luminary designations “reflect deep accomplishment in various technology-related industries.”

For more than 20 years, Tokutek CEO John Partridge has worked with startups in both the Boston area and in Silicon Valley. He joined Tokutek from StreamBase Systems which John co-founded with database pioneer Dr. Michael Stonebraker. He started his career as a software developer at Microsoft Corporation where he co-authored Excel v1.0. He later worked as a venture capitalist at Accel Partners and the Summit Accelerator Fund where he specialized in investing in early stage internet infrastructure and enterprise software companies. John holds an A.B. in Applied Mathematics / Computer Science from Harvard University and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

While his jobs changed from developer, to investor, to entrepreneur, John’s focus on building breakthrough enterprise software companies has remained consistent. He’s also built a fantastic team and vision for Tokutek.

Congrats John!
