Inside Account Executive

Tokutek is looking for experienced inside sales people to join our growing team of  full-time Inside Account Executives. You will be generating leads and closing new business so the potential is there to earn a strong income.

Marketing Manager

The Tokutek marketing team is looking to add a well-rounded, highly-collaborative, marketing manger to the team.  Join us and help us define and drive new lead generation strategies and results that support the company’s aggressive growth objectives; build new/additive joint marketing strategies with Tokutek partners; develop and deliver new content marketing programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the marketing content calendar and the related promotions calendar
  • Drive inbound leads through partner and content marketing programs, including customer success stories, videos, white papers, infographics and more
  • Create and optimize email nurturing programs to move leads through the sales funnel and generate pipeline
  • Measurably increase website traffic and conversions through partner content marketing programs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with our sales, engineering, services, and product marketing team to produce compelling content
  • Take an integrated approach to marketing, repurposing technical content, customer wins, presentations and more for demand generation programs
  • Develop a metrics-driven approach to success… measure and optimize form completes, email click throughs, pipeline generation, etc.
  • Make use of analysis of results to change our designs and texts for better performance

REQUIREMENTS

  • B.A. or B.Sc. in a relevant field of study
  • 2+ years B2B marketing experience with a strong focus on content and/or partner marketing for a technology company

Quality Assurance Engineer

As a QA Engineer, you will report directly to our VP of Engineering, and work with our Engineering team to develop new test and benchmark infrastructure to push our software beyond its limits, and with our Technical Services team to support customers and evaluators.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years experience in software testing, a background in databases and support, and a passion for discovering interesting ways of breaking software. This is an excellent position for a DBA or a database user to learn how to build complex testing infrastructure and database applications, or for an excellent test engineer to grow as an expert in distributed, write-optimized databases.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement frameworks, tools, and continuous integration systems to find new ways to test our products
  • Perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis
  • Interact with users to reproduce and isolate real-world issues
  • Produce and execute test plans alongside the product manager and engineering team
  • Create early-warning regression test systems to validate new features in future versions of our software

Requirements

  • Solid testing background
  • Strong database knowledge (SQL and/or NoSQL)
  • Experience in programming and scripting
  • Linux/UNIX familiarity

Desirable

Technical Product Manager

Tokutek is looking for a full-time Product Manager with prior experience managing DBMS products.  Working closely with our customers, partners and the product development team you will pull together a well defined product road-map and you will be a primary content creator for your products.  The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in software product management. The position reports directly to the VP of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Drives direction and definition of the Tokutek product family by gathering and defining product and market requirements
  • Manages the collection, definition and prioritization of candidate features and functions and other product improvements
  • Analyzes and understands competitors and their products as well as potential partner relationships for the product
  • Creates “first, best content” to clearly describe and communicate product value, vision and roadmap to customers, partners, analysts, and internal audiences.
  • Supports other team members with research, development, and presentation of new product concepts to gain timely stakeholder buy-in and management approval
  • Collaborates with the rest of the marketing team and sales to develop and implement go-to-market plans for our products

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in a relevant field of study
  • Relevant work experience in the relational database market

Freelance (Contract) Technical Marketing Copywriters

Tokutek is seeking freelance copywriters with prior, demonstrable, DMBS writing experience to regularly contribute high-value content relating to high-performance NoSQL (and NewSQL) solutions.  This content will form the foundation for our ongoing content marketing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Work with our technical and marketing teams to brainstorm and pitch content marketing strategies and tactics
  • Research and write 1-3 important content pieces a month and quickly turn-around related content updates
  • Ensure that all content pieces are fact-checked, spell-checked, and adhere to appropriate grammar and style conventions
  • Work with our graphic arts contractor to turn those pieces into professionally produced pieces
  • Work with out social media team to coordinate efforts for the promotion and publication of new content pieces
  • Deliver content pieces in a timely manner, per an agreed upon schedule

Requirements

  • Relevant DBMS writing experience (MongoDB-related experience a huge plus)
  • Ability to work remotely & independently with an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, start-up company
  • An outstanding track-record of content marketing success with other clients
